1. About These Terms

These terms and conditions govern the provision of plastering services by CTL Plastering ("we", "us", "our") to our customers ("you"). By requesting a quote, booking a site visit, or engaging us to carry out work, you agree to these terms.

2. Quotes and Estimates

Online estimates provided through our website are intended as a guide only and are not a fixed quotation. A final, fixed-price quote is provided after a free site visit. Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless stated otherwise.

We reserve the right to revise a quote if the scope of work changes, or if unforeseen conditions are discovered once work begins (for example, hidden damp or structural issues).

3. Site Visits

We offer free, no-obligation site visits to assess the work required and provide an accurate quote. We will arrange a mutually convenient time. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us at least 24 hours' notice.

4. Acceptance and Booking

A booking is confirmed once you have accepted our written quote and we have agreed a start date. We are typically booked 2–4 weeks in advance. We will do our best to accommodate your preferred dates, but start dates are subject to our availability and weather conditions for external work.

5. Preparation by the Customer

You are responsible for clearing rooms of furniture and breakables before we arrive, unless agreed otherwise. If you need help moving heavy items, please let us know in advance. We protect floors and remaining furniture with dust sheets as standard.

6. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in writing. For larger projects, we may agree a staged payment schedule. We accept bank transfer and cash. VAT is not applicable.

If payment is not received within 7 days of completion, we reserve the right to charge a late payment fee.

7. Drying Times and Aftercare

Freshly plastered surfaces take approximately 2–4 weeks to fully dry before painting, depending on room size, ventilation, and temperature. We will advise on the correct drying time for your specific job. We are not liable for damage caused by painting or decorating before the plaster has fully dried.

8. Insurance

CTL Plastering is fully insured with public liability insurance. We take every care to protect your property during the course of our work.

9. Cancellations

If you need to cancel a confirmed booking, please give us at least 48 hours' notice. If work has already commenced, you may be liable for the cost of materials and labour up to the point of cancellation.

10. Website Use

This website is provided for information and to request quotes. We do not guarantee that the website will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update or remove content at any time without notice.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms and conditions from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page.
